Jamai began screen-printing tees back in high school art class and then hustled them at lunchtime for milk money. He followed his entrepreneurial itch and established Animal Instincts Apparel in 2008. Animal Instincts is rooted in community so he sources his garments from ethical producers and works with local screen printers and dye guys. His hand-drawn designs are inspired by street art, illustration and the beauty of San Francisco.
